One Year, One Purpose, Endless Gratitude- A thank you note..

What began as an idea, has now grown into a year-old journey of learning, trust, and purpose. This health blog was created to spread awareness, simplify medical science, and stand firmly against misinformation. Every reader, message, and shared thought has shaped its soul. Thank you for being part of this journey — this is just the beginning.

One year ago, on my birthday, I decided to press “publish” on something that meant far more to me than just a website. It was the inception of this blog — a small space on the internet, but one filled with a big intention: to share honest, science-based healthcare knowledge in a world overflowing with confusion, fear, and misinformation.

Today, as I turn a year older, this blog turns one year old. And I pause, not to celebrate numbers, but to express gratitude — deep, heartfelt gratitude — to every single person who walked this journey with me.

When I started this blog, I had no grand expectations. I wasn’t chasing views, likes, or virality. I simply wanted to write as a doctor who cares, a learner who keeps questioning, and a human being who believes that knowledge, when shared with sincerity, can heal beyond prescriptions. I wanted to talk about health the way we talk to our families — honestly, simply, and responsibly. Since I don't get time to connect with everyone around me, This is where I try to do it. This is where I tell what I feel and what I want to say out loud.

What I did not anticipate was you!.

To those who read my posts quietly at night, to those who shared them with a friend or family member, to those who messaged me saying, “This helped me understand my condition better” — you gave this blog its soul. Every comment, every feedback message, every correction, every suggestion reminded me why I started in the first place.

Some of you challenged my writing — and I’m thankful for that. Some encouraged me when consistency felt difficult. Some told me that a single article reduced their anxiety or helped them make a better health decision. Some of you helped me to format my images and to refine what I had to say.Trust me when I say this: there is no greater reward for a doctor-writer than knowing their words made a difference.

This blog exists because you believed that credible healthcare information still matters. That facts matter. That compassion matters. That clarity matters.

On a personal note, this year has also been a reminder of growth — not just professionally, but emotionally. As I grow older, I’ve learned that purpose ages beautifully when nurtured with honesty and humility. This blog has kept me grounded, accountable, and deeply connected to the reason I chose medicine in the first place: to serve, to heal, to comfort someone in distress.I know that the posts have become less frequent like some of you had pointed out but that's because I am trying hard to strike a balance between my new academic training commitment, patient care and family time.

To my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and readers — thank you for trusting me, supporting me, correcting me, and standing by me. This milestone belongs to all of you.

As this blog steps into its second year, I promise to continue writing with integrity, empathy, and evidence — always keeping your trust at the center.

Here’s to one year of awareness.

Here’s to many more years of learning together.

And here’s to turning older with gratitude, purpose, and hope.

From the bottom of my heart — Thank you.
